2024-2025 LXLSC BOARD APPLICATIONS
This is Laughlin XL Spouses' Club board position applications for the 2024/2025 Board year (June to May).
Applications for the board are due no later than Friday, March 15, 2024. Apply here.
First meeting for the year to commence Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

* Please note: all LXLSC board positions require a commitment to attend monthly board meetings and functions/fundraisers in addition to performing the duties of the office. All applications are subject to approval and are not guaranteed.
President: Serve as the “face” of the club. Preside over all meetings of Membership, Board meetings, maintain a working knowledge of club activities, serve on the various committees and be an advocate of LXLSC on LAFB and surrounding community.
1Vice President (Operational/Social): Assist the President. Work with members of Executive Board and committee chairs, Aid in overseeing Operational and Social Committees.
2Vice President (Charitable/Welfare): Assist the President. Work with members of Executive Board and committee chairs, Aid in overseeing Thrift Shop and Scholarship Committees.
Parliamentarian: Advise president, board, and members on parliamentary procedure, LXLSC Constitution and By-Laws. Oversee voting and election procedures.
Secretary: Record and post minutes of Board meetings. Submit reports to appropriate parties. Serve as liaison to general questions about the club.
Operational Treasurer: Primary user of LXLSC Operational accounts, prepare monthly reports as well as yearly budget, deposit and collect money. Prepare taxes and Maintain open communications with the governing board about budgets and event planning.
Charitable Treasurer:Primary user of LXLSC Charitable accounts, prepare monthly reports as well as yearly budget, deposit and collect money. Prepare taxes and Maintain open communications with the Thrift Shop and governing board about budgets and event planning.
Social Chair: Helps create and oversees club social events
Membership Chair: Maintains records of all members
Marketing Chair: Manages website and social media accounts
Hospitality: Works with membership to help welcome and take care of members
Historian Chair: Takes photos of all events
Ways&Means Chair: Oversees management of inventory and coordinates with vendors
Thrift Shop Chair: Oversees operations and management of the Thrift Shop
Scholarship Chair: Runs all scholarships and oversees committee for scholarships
Charitable Chair: Receives and discusses at meetings all welfare requests
Fundraising Chair: Comes up with new fundraising ideas and oversees fundraising committee
